Assignment

Well the other three girls and I have worked hard to pull together our website for our first assignment. What a relief! Now it is time to build a community by engaging as best we can in the very limited time we have.

I feel like I have just spammed my entire class and friends by hitting them from all angles to come in and view our website and social media platforms.

It really makes you understand how resource intensive it is to plan, create and monitor online material - particularly now that my repertoire extends past Facebook and Twitter.

It's actually exhausting and a little confusing trying to keep up with my own posts - let alone engaging with my classmates. I must admit I am still a voyeur more than an engaged user.

All the same, I am learning something new everyday - and I am certain these new skills will be used both at work and at home.

A little stressed

I'm making my way through the weekly tasks and feeling very unsure about what i am doing.

Over the last two weeks I have signed up for countless social media platforms. The only way I know is to refer back to my weekly tasks to try and remember which!

What's hilarious is that I thought I was pretty on top of social media, and I am considered a guru in my workplace. This just proves to me that 1) I have soooo much to learn, 2) our workplace is sooo behind in this area, and 3) I'm super excited about delving further.
